We have a "ladies of the office" brunch tomorrow from 11-3 and everyone is so excited to drink Mimosas - I was one of them about 2 weeks ago! So I am wondering how they are going to react when they notice I am not drinking. I am not ready to tell everyone in the office yet; maybe a few more weeks. But I guess I will just enjoy my OJ and hope no one notices.
I haven't really had any symptoms today, I did notice that yesterday I got a little light headed after taking a bath (and no it wasn't too hot). At least I haven't had any morning sickness, I read that comes around the 8w mark. Which will be 2 more weeks. I think I am at 6w from what I have read and what people have told me. Again we will see on Monday - I CAN NOT wait. Its like torture. The lady from the Dr. office called today to confirm - I think they did that to be mean - they usually call the day before - so I have 3 more LONG days until we see our little one which is the size of a blueberry I think.
I have been reading a lot on the website www.whattoexpect.com and I think its pretty much the same as the book. So I probably won't be buying the book. I printed out a flippin 5 page list of foods and portions that I need to be eating so we are stocking up next week. Its pretty much get plenty of meat, veggies, wheat, dairy, and fruit. I like a lot of the stuff on the list - I just need to add more to my diet.
